I took this during a cruise several years ago when all I knew was to shoot in automatic. See what you can do to make this more interesting.
Feel free to download the image to your computer. Then edit the image anyway you want. Composites, black and white conversion, adjustments, color shifts, crops, Whatever you think is needed. Are you sure about this Mr Pops??? Well OK then. The food in Mexico is perfectly awful so first of all moved it to 'Nam where the food is just wonderful.
Then sort of added the odd thing and a bit of smoke plus a few grunts.
My take makes it painterly; somewhat Japanese, perhaps.

You got me looking at this for quite some time. I like the look you got with an artistic creative flair. Good job.
Full moon just rose over the horizon
.
After I edited the photo I thought, why stop now, so I took this happy fellow I got from an airfield in PA last year, and set about seeing what I could do. This is the first time I have tried this, so it was learn as you go. Its certainly far from perfect. This sort of thing is way above my pay grade.

LOL Fun
Darn. I just went back to the selection on the resized photo and realized I was able to coax the selection to include the outer frame. Live and learn.

Thank you, Jim. Appreciate your kind words.
I decided to settle for a nice day at the beach.

It's beautiful. That's what I had intended to do.
Overall I wanted to try to subtly enhance what was there rather than completely change it like I usually do. I try every week to use a new PS skill in my edit. This time I used multiple gradient filters along with Curves to adjust the light and color in different areas of the image. I attempted to add a sense of depth and transparency to the wave. I added clouds as well just because I like white fluffy clouds.
Beauty become dark and dangerous.
