One of those times where everything fit together!

I like to get some alone time at my local coffee shop. And being that I am retired, I can choose the quiet times lol.
Also, living here in the NW USA at this time of the year we get a lot of very foggy mornings.
So armed with camera and a good vantage point... I experiemented w with getting, just the right balance of light and so on.

This what I came up with.

Very nice capture! Photographing in fog is a favorite of mine. Light is really nice in this shot producing excellent contrast.

Very nice. Getting indoors and outdoors in one shot is rather difficult. Here in So. California I'd get few chances at that. Actually May and June can be foggy here.

Four star job of rendering! I really admire how you lit the face of the individual outside evenly without blowing away the highlights of the fog. Applause!

What do you get if you slide the highlights slider to the left a bit?

hello Jim,
I took about 50 shots of people walking by, and each time the light was slightly different, of the people were facing a different direction. Some of the photos were rather dark and lacked detail inside on the tables. SO I think in this case if I reduced the highlights too much I would lose details in key areas inside the building.
Thx for looking :)

Ian
