I have to remind myself that your news coverage is censored in Canada, which explains why you are so ignorant of what's going on.

Sure, the new deal is 95% the same as NAFTA,well except for the 1/3 of the new deal that covers things that were not in NAFTA, or even existed at all. Also, the North American content in new cars is now 75% and 40-50% of that must come from factories where the wages are $16/hour or more.

The agreement is essentially between the USA and Mexico, because Canada refused to be involved in the talks until the very last minute and they had to break up the Milk Mafia to get in on the act. No wonder Trudeau looks like he swallowed a whole lemon in the picture.

However, things are now going to be very interesting. President Trump is dissolving NAFTA this week and is presenting the USMCA to congress. The Dims have already said they will v**e against it. President Trump is in effect saying; Ok Dims, here's the deal: ratify the USMCA that has already been signed by Canada and Mexico or we go back to pre-NAFTA days.

Now, the Dims do not want to give Trump a victory and they are definitely not looking out for the USA and its citizens, but they are going to be in a pickle here. Either way, the Dims lose.
