I just downloaded this latest version of Capture One; even faster than Capture One 11 with many other enhancements. Wow! It makes you forget about everything else.
Thanks. I'll take a look.
I got it yesterday and can’t wait to play. Any particular books, youtube, or guides that you find helpful? Thanks. I love the program.
I'm thinking of transitioning to Capture One from LR 6. Any tips or tricks? I'm also on PS CS6. Is there a good interface between Capture One and PS?

The latest versions of CaptureOne feature smooth and easy transition from LR6. I am not aware of its behavior with PS CS6. Try and download the latest free trial; you'll never go back to anything else.

Their own tutorials are your best source. You might need to watch them several times.
Can you create print packages in Capture One?

You can select several images in and send them to the printer at the same time.
Whether you can do them as an uninterrupted batch may depend on your printer. I have not tried it.

I'm enjoying C1, but I use it alongside LR and Ps. They now have a developer's interface. What remains to be seen is if the heavy hitters that write plugins will embrace the opportunity and support C1.
LR is still my go-to. I really wasn't thrilled with the cost of the upgrade - $110. That's just $10 less than I pay for Lr/PS every year.
I've used CaptureOne for years as my go-to raw processor in professional photography business as well for my personal work. It's much easier to use than LR and it produces better results. It's not a replacement for PS but it's the best program out there for front-end processing and image optimization. It's also very well supported by the company from it's origins in the mid-90s. All the advertising photographers that I know on the west coast use it and I've been in the biz for over 30yrs. You can print a que of images and there is a strait-forward way of migrating your catalogs for LR. You can also have your images open in PS after processing if desired. Their video tutorials are very good and the program is quite intuitive and customizable. A very nice feature in the latest is the Luma Mask. Check it out.
