Absolutely beautiful. Worthy of a wildlife magazine cover. 👍

I appreciate your great reply, jtlenny. However, there are better Eagle photos out there for magazine covers.

Perfection Regis. Thanks for answering the question with regards to distance.

I bring my laser rangefinder, now and then, to measure distances I am not sure of, because I like to stay
under 100 yards for detail.
Thank you very much, linelink.

Regis, "some detail"? This photo is fantastic and the lens and camera are great but the ability of the photographer is far better.

Greg

Sometimes it is hard to capture detail at these distances unless the weather is good and I am in control of
my photo equipment. I appreciate your good comment about me, Greg. Thank you.

Great shot, I wish my hands were as steady as yours.

7 years of practice without using a tripod helps. But, if using a tripod helps, then go for it. I like to keep
moving around to get as many good shots as I can. I have my days when this 8 lbs. of photo equipment feels heavy.
Thank you very much, queencitysanta.

Great shot, are you using a tripod?

No. I haven't used a tripod for more than 7 years. I shoot many shots in hopes that at least one photo turns out well.
I just feel more comfortable without using a tripod. To each his own.
Thank you very much, ronz.
