Fran, I really like this. It has lovely color and the eye is drawn right into it. The softness of the remainder of the image makes a very pleasing composition and the grey and purple colors compliment each other.
If it were mine, I'd surely consider it entry worthy.

I like it... mainly for the same reason as sippyjug104. Definitely entry worthy. However, I would consider a little post processing to soften the luminescence noise?

Thanks greyfox. I'm relatively new to advance pp...what is luminescence noise? I'm familiar with regular low light noise

I think the Bokeh looks like it was added. I see sharper white edges around the lower left part. Also on the top I think you could soften the transition area. I would not normally mention these areas but you said you might enter in a photo contest.
