It has been quiet around here lately. Cooler temps moving in mean the Ospreys are migrating, if they haven't left already. Eagles are slowly moving back into my small lookout. I did get a pretty good shot of a Black Vulture but it's a rough shot w/ a dead animal. I didn't want to post it and offend anyone. I hope you enjoy. Gary

Some what of a distorted view. Good exposure.

Really a great capture. Nicely done and perfectly in focus. We in Minnesota are again being cursed by the influx of eagles due to the drop in temperature. I might enjoy seeing them, but the only reason they drop by our house is because we raise chickens, and they think this is a Kentucky Fried Chicken shop.

Thank you. Yeah, I came up on her from behind and as you can tell by her ears, she noticed me before I could get a side view. She was gone a second after I took the shot. Gary

Thank you very much. There is a river near where I work. The eagles clean up the fish and when they are gone, they move on to gulls, ducks or whatever crosses their path. Gary

Yeah those ears are on high alert. I like the shot. Wish I could move my neck so effortlessly. vz

Thank you VZ. I wish I could move like them too. They jump walls w/ a flick of the ankles, etc... I would need an ambulance if I attempted that! Gary

What an eye-catching photo. Humorous, but naturally beautiful also. Love it, Gary!

Thank you very much Gregory. I've had slim picking lately. All my shore birds and seasonal birds have gone to hang out w/ you for the winter. Can't say I blame them! Gary

Thank you very much Linda. I appreciate you looking and checking in. I just took a pic from my bedroom window of 4 does in my back yard. I swear they know to hang out near houses during hunting season. They were right up against my deck. Gary
