First is it reasonable to enlarge a shot from this camera to this size the pixels per inch is about 180? will it look good?
at 300 pixels per inch the size is 18.5x 12.3 or 18 x 12
I recently had an 18 X 12 metal print made from a jpeg I shot years ago with a Sony DSC-85 point and shoot camera. It’s a 4MP Camera, and the print came out great! In fact, it won 5th place in an annual Northern California competition.
Don’t worry about it. BTW, several online print companies that I use that produce excellent metal prints are MPIX, Bay Photo, and White Wall. Pricier than Costco, but very high quality. MPIX has the best skin tones if your shot included people.
I have used Shutterfly for years and have been very pleased with the 20 X 30 prints I have had them make. They guarantee satisfaction.

I am using lightroom and photoshop to edit the raw photo; what should i save the file as.
First as a psd or tiff and then as a Jpeg. That’s what your print company usually wants.
FYI- Free shipping min order $12 They use ROES and will do other options like FTP. I live close enough that normally in one day it is delivered to my door by UPS.
