Tamron makes two copies, G1 and G2, the G2 has much better VC. I'd look into refurbs at KEH, B&H to name a couple. The G1 new is around $899, G2 $1300.

My lens is a G1. VC has not been a problem, the only issue I'm having is my age (76) and the lens weight (approx 3.5 lbs) are becoming a challenge.

I'm a bit older ( 85 ). I wan't us a lens longer than 300mm for birds. Is yours for sale? Where are you located?

I have one you can buy. I used it maybe4 times. It is a Tamron 150-600mm it comes with a polarizer.

I am a Sigma Sport 150-600 that I have used only 4 times. The only problem is that I live in Canada. The cost in USA dollars for the lens would be $1300.00 plus shipping and any Duty. It is a great lens. Reason for selling I have switched gears and more interested in Portiere than wildlife. If you are interested in the lens let me know and I can check into shipping cost.
