Big cockies, can be destructive with a very big strong bill. The pink eye ring is the male and female has grey eye ring. The plants they are munching on are Erium Oleander -pink
and Leucospermum Cordifolium [ Pincushion Protea ]
The Willy wagtail Mum, feeding her chick, usually hard to catch with camera they are so quick and agile.
These are very nice. The only Black Cockatoo I found on a vacation to Australia was in a zoo. Sure wanted to get some wild shots.

Yvonne, excellent set and I appreciate the detailed explanation of what the birds and plants are.

Grass always greener on other side isn't it?! Our birds are great but would be so cool to have some of these too. Enjoyed your post.
Very good shots, Yvonne! Well done!
Cute shots Yvonne. Are the Oleanders in your area as toxic as the ones we have in Florida?

Fantastic post, Yvonne, and a bird I'm not familiar with at all! Beautiful birds in a beautiful setting, and I always love to see the adorable little Willies! Excellent shots of all, Yvonne, and I have a question. Are the Cockies not affected by the oleanders? The variety of oleanders we have here are poison.
Beautiful series, evenic!
Hi Jan, Yes the Oleander is a dwarf variety, and yes its has the same problems as the larger variety, the birds seem to know they dont bother with it.
Hi Donna, The birds seem to know, they dont bother with the Oleander, they stripped the Protea of all the seeds. They come every year about this time. I had 20 of them in a Banksia tree last week
Hi Ron, originals for you.
