And I just treated myself to a 55mm Super Multicoated Takumar and a 300mm of the same, used from eBay, for the “beast” itself (Pentax 6x7). The 300 arrives from Florida by priority mail. The 55 is still at the airport in Tokyo. A 5-pack of TriX 120 awaits!!

Nice gift. I am also thinking of doing the same thing. Either the Tamron or the Sigma. Just have not decided which one.

Let us know how you like the 150-600. I have been debating between the Nikon 200-500 or the Tamron 150-600 G2.
