A couple weeks ago I was with my son while he and his team were fishing the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Surf Fishing Tournament in Avon, NC and took these shots with my wife's Nikon S8100 on Wednesday. Sunday thru Wednesday the weather was pretty good, however, during the tournament, Thursday & Friday, the wind blew 15-20 mph steady with 25-28 mph gusts and it rained off & on. I didn't fish, (broken wrist in hard cast), but really enjoyed spending quality time with my son. His team had won this tournament for the last two years and placed 19th out of a total of 120 teams this year. Each team had a maximum of six members and a woman's team, (The Outcasts), took first place.
My son is second from the right with the camo waders.
Beautiful sunset and memorable photo of the group.

Great story. You must be proud of your son and his team. Hope that wrist heals quickly.
debbie wrazen - Thank you. They are a great group of fellas. The dog, Seti, a Basenji, was an added pleasure to have along. They are called the bark-less dog but do "Yodel" rather than bark.
PixelStan77 - Yes, Tommy has always only given me reasons to be proud of him. Got the hard cast off yesterday and only have to wear a brace for the next 5-6 weeks. Thanks.
