Absolutely beautiful, Corky, and such brilliant fall color! The lovely Tawny Emperor is a butter I've never seen here.

I have several other not quite as good images of the Tawny Emperor, Donna ---the first sitting on our flag and the second showing the markings on the opposite side of its wing:

the second shot is Agastache (hyssop). one of my favorite pollinator plants. and it blooms all season.
