On November 11th, the week before we got our first snow, I was in Acadia National Park shooting Jordan Pond with the "Bubbles" in the background. When I last visited this location in October, there were so many tourists that I couldn’t get anywhere near the Pond. On the 11th, I almost had the area entirely to myself. The temperature was 36° and the wind was brisk, but the afternoon was gorgeous. Here are three views of Jordan Pond and the Bubbles, taken using a monopod with my Nikon D750 and Tamron 24-70 mm lens at 24 mm. Each photo is a panorama comprised of seven individual, vertical shots. I hope you enjoy seeing them. -Paul

Thanks Paul. I was there just before Labor Day and there were a ton of people around. We did enjoy a late lunch at eating place there.

Nice photos!

Thanks, Bill! It is such a lovely location. If you ate near Jordan Pond, you likely ate at the Jordan Pond House, famous for its excellent popovers. -Paul

More than impressive. Both the images and the solitude.
