Please. This is indeed one of the most uneducated and ignorant statements ever. Tell us, what, exactly, IS going on around us?

You cannot hold back time. This is not 1950, 1970, or 2000. You have not had your religion, moral concepts, race concepts, etc. ripped from you. What you have is a changing of mind about what constitutes a decent life for ALL PEOPLE, instead of just the favored few. You and yours can moan and groan about how life will never be the same. No, it won't. And that will be a good thing.

The founding document of this nation, the Declaration of Independence states "....Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness...." This phrase gives three examples of the "unalienable rights" which the Declaration of Independence says have been given to all humans by their creator. There is nothing at all or even a hint that all are guaranteed a decent life. They can pursue it but the government nor anyone at all has a responsibility or obligation to provide it. That is what makes America different from the catastrophe like France, Venezuela or Iran. You have the right to try and FAIL or succeed.
Only i***ts cannot comprehend this God given principle and think they are smarter than our most brilliant founders.

You're not even from here, are you? The declaration of independence was a stick in the king's eye. The country is founded on the constitution. The declaration of independence has no legal weight at all.

Is it a good thing? Is t***h being relative now a good thing? People thinking they have a right not to be offended? Looking to government for handouts? Men going into bathrooms where there are young girls? Extra g****rs? Political correctness? Legalized murder? Crazies thinking animals have rights? People not believing we have the right to protect ourselves? Two increasingly useless political parties that do not much more than snipe at each other? Partisan v**ers who do the same? I could go on and on. These are good things?

I'm not a constitutional scholar but I'm pretty sure you're right on this one.

Your absolute ignorance is showing. You failed American history.
The Constitution was adopted in 1787 (Remember we celebrate July 4, 1776 for some odd reason beyond your comprehension). Prior to that were the Articles of Confederation. Both documents came into being after the founding of this nation. Their sole purpose is to be an outline for the OPERATION of the government and it's responsibilities and restrictions.
The Declaration of Independence if you do a very slight amount of research was the FOUNDING document of our nation.
Of course you are a product of i***ts running the education system and you then graduated to f**e news like CNN and MSNBC so you are absolutely clueless and your comment here proves it beyond all doubt.

I doubt there will be any further response as he was crushed by his ignorance.
Or as libs do, attack the person showing them how stupid they are with personal attacks or deflect and change the subject.

Still dead silence still from the peanut/lib gallery duo of Thom and Texcaster.
They are waiting for DNC instructions on how to deflect or attack personally.

Perhaps you would like to have a bet on the legal authority of The Declaration of Independence in our country? How much?

He certainly went into meltdown over Thom's post and my reply. He put on the gloat coat and opened the bubbly for Gawd's sake.

"You're not even from here, are you? The declaration of independence was a stick in the king's eye. The country is founded on the constitution. The declaration of independence has no legal weight at all." Thom

Just overly emotional about nothing? Again?

People get overly emotional in the Attic?

Its understandable people want to vent but that derails what could be some interesting conversations.

Anything that makes it to page three unscathed is a marvel.
