We spent the day at the San Diego zoo. We had Aussie lamb pies in the outback area. My wife and two children were born in me Melbourne and Benalla. My dog Basso came from the mtns east of Melbourne. We had to make the pies and take them with. We miss AU and some of the cuisine... if you want to call meat pies cuisine!

If you are still in the USA and happen to be further North in Southern California, there is a Australian meat pie bakery in Costa Mesa and in Huntington Beach called Pie-Not. Might help with your cuisine homesickness.
