If we were a democracy, in which every v**e that was cast was counted fairly and equally, and the popular majority chose our leaders, and the majority had chosen this Orange Pumpkinead jackass as our leader, then your question would be an "affirmative". As it stands, this Orange JackAss Nincompoop was not chosen by the majority of the American people, as his opponent received 3 million more v**es. But the American N**i Republican Party has managed to rig the e******n system in which they generally choose the President without having to win the popular v**e for president. The legislature is similarly r****d and gerrymandered, giving the Orange Nincompoop's party a permanent majority in the Senate, no matter that their party gets less v**es, and an overrepresented proportion in the lower house.

Furthermore, the Orange JackAss'es approval ratings have been consistently below half of the population during the almost 2 years in office, hovering around just over 1/3 of the population on average.

So, to answer you question, no, the American people as a whole are not this shallow and willing to to take it up the ass, but somehow the minority of assholes running the place have managed to maintain their grip on power and shove it up the asses of the majority whether they want it or not.
