No, I don't mean Salmonella or E. coli or taboo topics of conversation. I mean this innocent and adorable little confection found mewing pathetically outside my house last night (and I am at risk any time I hear a kitten mewing for help). I can assure you she was too tiny to simply find her way here on her own; I suspect she had help though I have no idea who could or would have dumped her off, but she ended up at a safe spot. I'm not usually one to post holiday-related photos but I couldn't resist sharing these--how perfectly her colors speak of fall and holiday centerpieces! In my mind I'm calling her Leaflet because she seems to have blown in on a gust of wind, and because it looks like she has a bronze-colored leaf pasted to her forehead. She makes me smile and I hope she will all of you, too.
Precious, priceless. It was meant to be. Wishes for a long and happy life for Leaflet and much joy for you.
Sweet set. Leaflet looks at home already.
I'll echo what Linda expressed.

she is a perfect little beautiy, swferal. what a gift! she will have a good home, thanks to you.
I didn't actually say she has a permanent home here, just a safe spot. The decision is not mine alone. You may all rest assured that if I don't keep her, the home she goes to will meet with my approval. She will NOT be an outdoor cat, for instance (especially not around here, the land of thorns and stickers, with that coat!)
