Bright blossoms on the river bank.

This is the first time I've seen this tree in blossom & I don't know what it's called. The tree is about 15' tall & the trunk is about 6" diameter near the ground. I zoomed in on these from about 20' away. Downloading is recommended.

Earl, the DDLs make the buds look like little bannanas. Love the excellent detail and sharpness.

Yep, it's a mystery, Aud. I think it could be related to a Flame tree (which is related to a Kurrajong).
