I put together a phot merge for my wife in photo shop. When I try to sent it to CVS or Walgreens to print it only shows just part of the merge. Does any one know of a place I can send this to be put on a 30 x 20 or 36 x 24 poster and show the whole merge?

Costco and when you go in with your thumb drive or disk have them verify your merge is the merge.

Keep the photo merge in a memory card and take it to a reputable print station. Do not use CVS or Walgreen neither of them have calibrated printers to make colors correct.
Costco can do a very good job at a reasonable price.

I wonder if it could have something to do with the way you saved the final image. You say only part of the final result shows up. Before anyone can print the entire thing, they must have the entire thing. Can you put it on a flash drive and then open it in a program other than what you used to create it? Can you post it here?

My guess is the OP’s image is not the same aspect ratio as the final print that he’s trying to get and so it’s showing only part of it.
When I have images that don’t fit standard print size or panoramas, I add extra white space to fill out to a standard size which makes it’s own matte.

Good post. This is where I would look first.

Important advice about Costco and possibly other printers is to turn off the automatic adjustments. Keeping it on while override your carefully set ones.

Costco does a 20x30 for $9.99. Of course you have to buy the membership. I have my Costco membership primarily for the photo processing they do. Prices are great, service is great, they autocorrect for free (be sure to mark it, otherwise your photos will be too dark), plus I can get gas when I get my prints.

And a hot dog with a drink for $1.50!

I always have good luck with Mpix and they always package the prints very well, never rolled in a tube!

Read my post above about the auto-correct. If you correct your picture properly, auto-correct is not only unnecessary, it can botch your picture. Be careful.

Did you flatten all your layers in photoshop before saving? If you didn't, it won't save as jpg properly.
