Artificial and Real Flowers

Being another sunny but cold day out, I went for a walk, and found two more artificial flowers, a couple of roses draped over a wrought iron railing that I hadn't noticed before.

The last picture is a real rose located on the west side of and very close to a house. With all of the frigid temperatures, I was surprised to see it still alive with the icicles hanging so close to it.

Linda, I was shocked to see those icicles next to a rose. I went back there this afternoon to find the ice gone, but the rose is drooping a lot more than it was a couple of days ago. Thank you very much for the wonderful comment!

Thank you, Bob! I went back over there to look at the rose, and found the icicles gone and the rose drooping more.

Beautiful shots and processing, Cathy! It's amazing that this rose survived the freeze.

It sure is, Donna! I went by there this afternoon, and found the rose drooping badly, on its way out. Sob! ...But the icicles were gone. Thank you very much for the wonderful comment!

Sis, these fake roses really look good and the real one is for sure a surviver.

Simply beautiful Cathy! The third brought to mind and incident years ago when I worked at a florist. We had a fellow who put a corsage he had gotten for his love, in the freezer to keep it fresh overnight. Big surprise the next morning. Believe he was told to put it in fridge.
