Thanks, John, that section of this canal is a particularly good one as there is not a lot of mooring allowed, just go a couple of miles or so in each direction and you soon come to a marina which is full of various narrow boats, just as you see on most canals on England.

Thank you John. I love old bridges. I have spent several years in Germany. I speak the language and my wife is also German. In 2015-2016 we spent 18 months as a senior missionary couple in Friedrichsdorf and Dresden. One day returning from Freiberg our GPS led us a different way so we decided to follow it. To our joy and amazement we discovered a 500 year old stone bridge. The only stone bridge in America that I am aware of is the London Bridge, which was moved stone by stone from London to Arizona and reconstructed.

I occasionally visit this canal to capture some Autumn Photographs, due to poor weather I couldn't get there until today, here are a few shots for your enjoyment.
I hope you like them.
I enjoyed 1,2 and 5 most. We can get a canal boat ride in Coshocton and Canal Fulton, Ohio.
I really like these John. The first and last are my favorites. A really serene looking place.
