What is that structure????
Good shot.
What is the derelict building and what was it used for, in it's day?
Although I now live in Florida, I was born/lived near Rochester. (Palmyra)..parents also had summer home on Cayuga Lake (a Glacial Finger Lake created in the last ice age)....and I attended Cornell University (Ithaca). The finger lakes region of NY State is very beautiful....especially standing on the hill, at the southern foot of the lake during the fall...the blue waters of the 40 mile long lake, and color of the trees looking down the lake are breathtaking. The many waterfalls are easy to get to. Taughannock Falls, Buttermilk Falls, Robert H. Treman State Park, etc are others to visit. That's also wine country.
I spent a day going to most of the falls near Ithaca ..there are a lot of them ...they are all beautiful parks with lots of waterfalls ...hope you went to Letchworth
Welcome to the forum, Mike! Beautiful photo of the falls. I'd like to go there myself some day. I'm also from Rochester, (south Greece, by the canal).
Very cool image. Great composition.
That's a lovely shot of a picturesque location.

I've never seen a waterfall with a house beside it. What is the building? Must have been a tough task to build it!
Beautiful. The falls are great just by themselves but the photo is really enhanced by the old forge. Nice job.
Very nice capture! The image has the feel of scene from a fantasy world!

I forget the name of the state park that has the deep gorge, anyone?
Lot of falls and gorges.
That state park is Letch3 State Park. The Genesee River flows through it. It's nickname is the Grand Canyon of the East. I try to visit it at least once a year.
