I love Luminar, It's so intuitive. I always shoot raw but save changes as tif's and jpg. I send some of my shots to Walgreens and other print sources that use jpg's.

Do you know if present Luminar is completely compatible with windows?
I think a little while ago was better suited with Appleā€™s OS and windows version had spme issues. Am I wrong?

Use the Canon Digital Photo Professional that came free with you camera and export it as a 16 bit tiff file

Oooohhhh, so THAT is why it is included! Up until now, PSE (and LR when I import older photos) worked seamlessly. So, I thought the software was for professional photographers - way beyond my skill set! Downloaded Adobe's dng converter. . . will see if I still have the Canon CD...Thank you very much Gordone! Now, I have two approaches to solve this issue! Linda S.

I have been using the Mac versions of Luminar since the beginning with great results and ease of use. Luminar was initially developed exclusively for Macs. Earlier this year the company introduced the Windows version. I have heard from several people that the 2 versions are not exactly the same. What I found is that the Luminar folks are very progressive and fast to respond to user's feedback, so I wouldn't be surprised if the 2 versions are today identical or close to that. I would suggest checking with Windows users of Luminar before purchase. I am happy with the Mac 2018 version. Nelson.

If you can't find the CD, you can still download the relevant software from Canon's web site. In fact, if your CD is a couple of years old, you're probably better off doing the download -- it will give you newer software versions, even if you do find the CD.

You can go onto the Canon web site and download DPP for free. It just asks you to enter your camera serial number before it will download
