Hard to remember back to my first dslr when I was an innocent and oblivious happy clam - with just a single lens, battery and cf card

But I came from film, lol. At least 2 lenses that I remember, including one honking big and heavy zoom lens. Plus a tripod, a vest to hold my long exposure cheat sheet, cable, film and filters. My several filters included one that made cool stars of small light sources

I did too (film that is) when I was finished with college, had all my gear (Pentax and two other lens) stolen and didn't pick up photography seriously again until 4 years ago :( What took me so long?????

Ha, I remember those star-filters well; they were quite popular in the early '80s.
