Can someone provide an overview of these functions in the 2019 version?

There is a $12 add on "Elements+" that has a script for focus stacking.
This add on supposedly unlocks things that Adobe left hidden in Elements. Possibly because so much of Elements is taken from PS

After looking at several programs, from my perspective, Affinity seems to have these functions and they appear to be extremely easy to use.
