Love our neighbors as ourselves and these two neighbors surely do love one another.

I would share most things with that little dog......but NOT my bed.

Not your bed?! Our two Coton de Tulear's won't sleep anywhere else (at night, when we are sleeping).

We have had dogs for over 60 years. They have their beds, we have ours. They never have used our chairs either.

Our house is their house also, that is actually a couch the sheet is to protect it.
Just like my house. The cat has the bigger part of the pillow.

Well, I can't make that claim, not old enough but, our dogs are Coton de Tulear's, the royal dogs of Madagascar. These small white decendents of the Bichon Tenerife, now extinct, are some of the friendliest people oriented dogs there are. They do not shed and are hypoallergenic. My wife is allergic to most dogs, not out Coton's. Besides, all our children are grown with their own children. Our two beautiful dogs, a brother and sister, are our children. Yes, they have their own beds but rarely if ever use them. These dogs exist to be with people and do not like to be segregated. When it is getting late and we are still up, they will remind us it's time to go to bed. We can lay in bed reading or watching TV as late as we want, and our puppies will just lay there content as can be, as long as we have gone to bed.
We bathe them regularly and since they don't shed, they are not a problem on the furniture or in the car or anywhere.
As I type I'm sitting on our recliner couch with legs raised. There's one puppy (they are full grown but will always be puppies) at my side, with his head resting on my lap and his sister is lying across my feet. Some people may think this annoying, but to me it's just another case of their need to be with their humans and their unconditional love. Did I mention they're really, really cute.
