I've been experimenting. Here's some results, kinda "artsy".

I love them all! Many people aren't aware you can do vignettes of lighter color or white (your pic #3). #2 seems so richly textured, like an oil painting. #1 is very neat, though I'd enjoy seeing even more of those bubbles and balls Is that a pre-set, and if yes, which software?

I love your experiments, cathyann...you are a great processing scientist!
I am really nuts about the first one...just love that shade of red !

If I remember correctly, Linda, the effect in #1 is a preset in Topaz. I use Topaz Studio, and access the different plug-ins, etc., through that. I can't remember which one. I fiddle with so many effects and textures, I lose track. Thank you very much for the wonderful comment.

Thank you so much, Merry! If I were a scientist, I'd be making notes as I go along, but am too darn lazy to go to the trouble.
