Is it possible and if so to transfer photos from my XT3 to my IPad Pro? I tried USB-C from camera to lightening on my IPad but nothing happened. I also tried a card reader to my iPad but the message was IPad didn’t have enough power. I used to connect my D500 to my IPad when traveling but it appears the Fuji may not be compatible. Any assistance would be appreciated. It also appears Fuji doesn’t play well with others. Love the camera but hate the inconvenience of having to bring my MacBook on trips. Grrrr

You just have to get the fuji app and it communicates with the camera via Bluetooth.

I have a Fuji compact zoom and have no trouble at all downloading via USB data cable to my iMac desktop. Also have no problem pulling the SD card and inserting in my iMac's SD slot. However, I've never tried to download to an IOS device such as my iPhone.

I don’t want to download by Bluetooth, takes to long.

I can download to my MacBook Pro but hate to take it on trips. I could download to my IPad when I had my Nikon.

Thanks for all of the comments. My problem is solved with the help of our local Apple Store employees. I purchased the Apple SD card reader and can download raw to my iPad. This is great for traveling as I don’t have to bring my MacBook Pro. I can process using my LR and PS apps to make my raw shoots “Pop”. Very happy now as the XT3 allows me to shoot and save in raw on the iPad.

Using the card reader it may need the battery at 50% charge or more.
Never had a problem downloading photos using the card reader with my Fuji XE-3 and Canon G9X Mark2 to
my IPad.

I tried linking the camera directly to the IPad like I did with my Nikon which didn’t work. I tried my older card reader that I used with my Nikon which didn’t work. The Apple Store opened an Apple card reader and we tried my card and it worked. I have no idea why the old card reader that I used with my Nikon wouldn’t work but all is now good.

On a recent 2 week trip to Ireland I moved photos to my iPhone 7 from my Fujifilm X-T1 nearly every day. Using the Fujifilm app transfers by WiFi, not Bluetooth. Not slow at all.

I use the Apple SD card reader that plugs into my iPad Pro. It instantly downloads from my Fuji XT 2 and Fuji X100F I don’t recall the price but I bought two from the Apple Store. One for home and one in my camera bag. Never the slightest issue.

I am so happy to hear that those of us who use an ipad or iphone to upload our images from SD cards won’t have trouble with the Fuji XT-3. I’m on the verge of buying one. I think. The best travel companion I have found is that “dongle” (SD card reader) from the Apple store that plugs into my iPad. It works like a charm, especially for RAW files.

I lugged a Nikon all around parts of Europe and other countries the past two years and after talking to other photographers I met decided it made sense to move to mirrorless. I shoot raw and download to my iPad when traveling always saving images on my cards for later LR and PS if needed. The X-T3 was my choice and I loved it especially that it will work with my iPad. The camera is compact, lighter than my Nikon and easy to learn. I especially like the dials that allow me to make changes that I see through the lens. I get what I see now.
