Hopefully people will also realize that their camera may not have the ability to use a super fast card!

Isn't that why people like you read and reply to dumb questions from folks like me? First it gives you a chance to complain about folks like me, second it gives you a chance to make snarky remarks and third it gives you a good feeling to help out folks like me who are just too dumb or lazy to do Google search. Anyway, to all who have helped me while I have asked dumb questions, and probably will continue to ask dumb questions, thank you.

Yes, they do come up over and over. The link is to the B&H Guide I was looking at, which also conflicted with some of the other guides I googled.
I'm far from an electronics whiz, as you know.
The B&H page directed me to a 90MBs 128 Gig card, priced at nearly $300! I don't need sustained capacity as much as write speed, so something in the 64 or even 62G range should be fine as far as capacity goes. I'm also somewhat confused about whether the SDXC cards will be sufficient.
Being somewhat of a skinflint, I'd prefer to keep it well below that price point, which should be possible if I'm looking for no more than 10-12 images at 3-6 FPS.
I trust your opinions on all things electronic - do you have any specific recommendations?
