If you haven't sold it already, I'm interested in the M3. Would you be willing to sell it for $300.00?

thanks for your interest. Well I'm basically selling it for $300. A USPS Priority Mail Large Flat rate box with $300 insurance is $23.40. So I will have to stick with my $325 price. Mark

Understand. I'm still interested. What needs to be done to move forward with the purchase?

Well...as it turns out, I'm going to be in the greater Dallas area (Grapevine, TX) the end of January through the first week of February. I'm willing to wait if you're willing to hold onto the camera until then. I'll let you choose an agreed upon place to pick up the camera when the time comes. I can put a personal check in the mail tomorrow. Obviously, the check will have cleared by the time I pick up the camera. Let me know if all of this works for you.

Sure, this works for me. I work in Carrollton, TX which is only 5 minutes from Grapevine so we should be able to come up with a place easily.

Great! I'll put a $300 check in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully, you'll get it before Thanksgiving. Would you mind sharing your cell phone number with me? I'll text you to arrange the pick-up. Mine is 317.652.6788. I'm going to be attending a conference at the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine from February 6th to the 9th. My wife and I are going to come to TX a few days before to sight-see. Since you're work is close by, maybe you can drive to the hotel, and I can pick it up from you then.

BTW...how long have you had the camera, how much use has it gotten, and why are you selling it?

Jim

My cell number is (972) 414-2915. I purchased the body from B&H in Sept 2016. It was my travel body and probably has less than 3000 shots taken based upon the files on my hard drive's M3 directory. I'm selling a couple of bodies mainly to par down a bit.
I currently shoot with a 5D Mk3 and a backup 5D. The M3 never got the use I thought I would do with it as the 5D Mk3 is just so good.
I had one lens with the M3, a Tamron 18-200mm in the M mount. Great lens, it sold very fast.
Also have a Canon Rebel T3 with 18-55 IS if you're interested. :)

You're up there on good cameras! I have a Canon 6D, Canon T5i with kit lenses (so, no, I'm not interested in the T3), Canon G1X (Mk 1), and a Sony RX100 (Mk 1, which I got from a pawn shop for a ridiculous price). I like the 6D for low light shooting, the G1X for it's versatility in a small package, and the RX100 as a travel camera (that little thing takes remarkable photos). I want to venture into a mirrorless camera without spending an arm and a leg. Granted, the M3 has mixed reviews, but overall it seems like a great camera if you're shooting stills or landscape (which is what I do mostly). I plan on buying the M3 lens adapter and use the T5i kit lens. Probably will be a little bulky with the adapter, but I'm okay with that. As you can see, I'm a little behind on being current with the latest cameras, but as you know it's usually the person that takes great photos...not necessarily the equipment.

The check is in an envelope and will be put in the mail tomorrow. Text me when you receive it.

Thanks again...

Jim

I did like the way the M3 handled, I was concerned about the reviews also but it handles real nice for landscapes when I traveled. Been looking at the new R but may wait till the next model comes out, don't want to think I'll need new lenses yet. I can use the EF's but my mind will bug me to get R lenses, just my weirdness.
