Desperate for Flowers...

I was walking around the block freezing my keester, and saw these artificial flowers stuffed into planters on the porch of a house. I just couldn't resist them - the second and third pictures.

The first picture, however, is of a Dianthus I planted last Spring, and has survived frost and below freezing temperatures. The ground is hard like a brick, but this little flower just keeps going!

On all three, I had fun playing with Topaz and other effects software.

Taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000.

Nice job on the processing! The third shot is very nicely composed, and you'd never suspect they're not real. Good work!

Great shots, colors and composition on all, CathyAnn !
Have to agree with the rest. The last two can easily pass as real flowers

I didn't touch them to see what they're made of, Bro, but they're not silk. They're just not delicate; they're standing up to the weather since their position on the steps leaves them unprotected. Thank you so much for the great comment and the thumbs!
