I am lucky to live near Mt.Hood here in Oregon. Yesterday I took a quick drive to Trillium Lake. It is south east of Mt. Hood. The weather was clear but cold. I almost caught a perfect reflection of Mt. Hood but kayaks took care of the calm water. Oh well, it was a fun day all the same. Hope you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed taking. FYI... these are large files. It may take a second or two to download. Sorry.

Thanks Transbuff. Mother nature did all of the hard work. I just took the picture. BTW, thank you for your service.

Things are ever changing tho remaining the same. We work wonders with zooming lenses and taking advantage of opportunity.

No. 3 certainly calls out to be standing on the shore and enjoying the peace.

Gorgeous day! The kayaker adds foreground interest and I like the ripples he's making, as well as how you caught the paddle raised. #3 is a perfect moment of exquisite beauty.

Thank you for your comment dpullum.
I could not agree with you more. I have lived in this area for nearly seventy years. The only thing that has really changed is that the trees have grown over the years. Mother nature does her magic daily. At sunset Mt. Hood will be painted in red on a clear evening. This time next month the mountain and lake will be blanketed with snow. More photo opportunities. As you said "changing but never changing". Have a great day. :)

Thank you. As I mentioned previously, mother nature did all of the hard work. I just clicked a button. :)
