How to get edited files

I downloaded pics in photo raw/jpeg. I made an album of some and edited them in dpp and converted to tiff. I tried opening it in photos to upload to iCloud sharing but only the unedited jpeg is available. How can I get the edited version? Or is that possible?

Try saving your edited version as a jpeg (just give it a different name such as adding an "a" to the file name).

I'm confused - you say "raw/jpg" but that is a mode in the camera where the camera saves both the raw file and the jpg file to the memory card. There will be two files on the card to download - the raw file and the jpg file. Both will have same file name with the different extension to indicate raw or jpg.
If you edit the raw file then you need to do a "SAVE" to keep the raw version and then do a "SAVE AS" in jpg or tif.

RAW/JPEG are also two types of files. Seems that the problem is that she can get the JPEG up to iCloud, but not the TIFF.

MY thought being that with the two types of files she is editing the raw but not saving a new jpg. When she saves the raw file she has to do a separate operation to save a new jpg. She says she does editing and then when she sends the jpg the editing is not there. Because if you think of it as a raw/jpg you think the changes are made to a file that is both raw and jpg and that's not correct.

I misunderstood, I thought the TIFF was not transferred to the iCloud properly.
Yes, one must explicitly "convert and save" in DPP to update the JPEG, or convert and save as a TIFF. Saving the edited RAW will not update (create) either the JPEG or TIFF.

I did save it as a tiff. But when I opened in photos it was only the jpeg fill showing. Is there a way to view them both?

I understand they are edited separately I only edited the raw file converted to tiff and tried to open in photos.

I don't know what "dpp" is?
I would suggest editing a raw file then save as .tif with a new name, such as tiff copy of number 12. Then use "File Explorer" to find that file and use it to upload. My thought being that when the edited file is saved it's saved in a different location.

Canon's Digital Photo Professional, the RAW editor that comes with the cameras.

What is "photos", an iPhone app? If so, can it work TIFF files? Does the extension need to br TIF or TIFF? Would it make a difference?
(My phone is a Droid.)
