A friend of mine has a 1910 (I think) Ford. He has a machine shop to provide parts as needed. He drives it around town, and furthermore, there are a lot of them out there. They trailer them to a scenic area and then take a tour around with anywhere from 10 to 50 cars depending on who can make it. They do this several times a year.
Another friend has a museum of old cars. He has a regular get-together with other antique car guys in the area so I would frequently see interesting old cars on the road heading to his place or back.
All the cars I've seen on the road had a better paint job than the photo above.
Period costumes are the norm.
