Nice shot, very sharp and love the bokeh...
It is interesting how people assume the attention of animals is directed forward, when it may not really be. A bird or other animal with the eyes on the side of the head may have it turned that way because it is really observing something 90 degrees from the front of it's head. Raptors have binocular vision and do see best to the front like people. Prey animals sacrifice binocular vision for a 180 degree view on each side of the head to be able to see the hunters from a wider range. The overlap is much smaller towards the front.
