An outright lie.
Trump will continue to lie about his relationship, to distance himself from Whitaker when Whitaker was hand picked to serve as acting AG to discredit, defund, and otherwise derail the Mueller investigation.
The incredible part is that Trump will probably succeed in this dishonest, indecent fraud--knowing that his base will not see, or admit to the fraud that he has perpetuated.
Kinda like the caravan "invasion" prior to the midterms.
