Thank-you. It's amazing the difference between the way veterans are treated today returning from overseas deployments and the way we were treated when I returned from a tour in Southeast Asia in the early 70's. I spent a year in Thailand and saw plenty of protesters outside Travis AFB when I arrived in November 1973.

Yes, you are right. I was in the Marines from 1960-67. In 67 I was sent home and discharged. I will never forget the way we were treated. Now we are loved. I have a Marine Corp sticker on my rear window. If someone sees it and thanks me for my service, my standard response is; you are too late.
