Beautiful images, Corky! The butterflies interested me since I've been taking lot of shots of butterflies on our neighbor's butterfly bush. Only trouble is, I have to shoot through a screen that can't be removed. :(

They're beautiful, Corky, but the Buckeye Butterfly is my favorite. It's stunning!

Many thanks, Sue, and that's really a shame, but it's sometimes surprising how well some images turn out when taken under less than ideal conditions. I snapped an image of a hawk last year through a dirty window in our sunroom and sometimes forget that it was taken under those conditions and have seen quite a few images taken in zoos that looked great! Always great to hear from you and hope that you, Al and Oreo are making out ok and having fun. Take care!

Thanks, Twi and really love your image of the beautiful Blue Grossbeak, and think that if you just keep supplying its favorite chow there's a good possibility that it will return. That what happen to us a few years back when we spotted our first Baltimore Oriole and every season since it has returned. Take care!

Thanks for the very kind words, Cathy and I probably have three or four other similar images of the Buckeyes, and will attempt to send you an image of their caterpillar so if you ever see one on your beautiful flowers don't squash it!
