One of my most favorite places to visit,phv! Glad the highway is reopened! We had a tough go of it circumventing due to closure !

Wonderful. The sun sets over the pacific ocean allowing for a shot like your last one. Oh God how I miss the ocean but not enough to EVER go back to the smoking ruins of the wonderful state I grew up in.

The fires are incredibly bad this year, and of course, right now especially. I am on the coast in Goleta, but I would be very frightened to live in the hills.....beauty and danger mixed. It’s a risk always.
