foam

It was an incredibly wild sea a few weeks back and it whipped up huge shapes of natural sand foam which I spent hours photographing. I liked this one in particular and tried to make it seem to glow from beneath. 5 metre seas predicted again for this weekend so guess where I will be. Am interested in all and any feedback.

Great capture of the action. You might try to up the contrast a little with more shadow to get the background down in light and it might bring the glow you want out more. Just my idea.

Very cool Pete. I never saw the waves do that.

What a great study! I think that would be a great way to spend time this weekend. Enjoy the foam

Her's another shot I took at the same time to give you an idea how the foam built up. The young lady in the pic just happened to be there but I was immediately grabbed by the fact that her clothes were almost the same tones as the sea and foam. It made her really part of the scene as well as someone external photographing it.
