Travels With Bob............"EYEING".... Amsterdam one more time!
Since we had 3 days in Amsterdam I feel the need to add a few more eye catching moments before moving on to something else. Everywhere one looks......there's a photo opportunity! And away we go! Bob
(1) Took an early morning walk around our hotel & spotted this Swan knocking on the glass door of this houseboat. An older woman fed him, but hid from my camera view!

(2) Same walk....,picturesque parking spot!

(3) Upon coming into the city....this is Amsterdam Central & appears to be the gathering spot for all the various means of transportation. Like buses, trolley cars, trains, bikes & tour boats!

(4) And interesting buildings are everywhere.....

(6) As evening began to arrive we noticed the crowds were increasing. We were getting hungry about this time & keeping our eyes open for some interesting place to have dinner. Crowded everywhere!

(7) OOPS! Ended up on this street.....briefly! It's their Red Light District which people told me about before arriving. Certainly was an "eye catching moment!" Moving right along we made our way back to Amsterdam Central where we had a nice meal.

(8) Topped our evening off with this Frozen Lemon Sorbet.....of which I had already taken a bite before snapping this picture. They also had oranges. Delicious! Must make sometime.

(10) Question.....do people really wear wooden shoes in the Netherlands? Apparently some do!

Good variety....thanks.
Delighted you found this to be a "good variety" of photos deanfl. At times it's a struggle attempting to choose what & what not to post, especially when the number of pictures are so plentiful. Much appreciated, Bob
