Watched it yesterday, I already own the 500PF and your video reinforced what I think of this lens, thanks. Here is a shot I took with the lens on the D500.

Steve has the best Nikon videos on the Net. I'd love to have the 500PF but have to settle with the "lowly" 300PF,
which he also reviews.

So far, I couldn’t be more pleased with my new 500pf. The limited aperture is well offset by its lightness and small dimensions. Will take it on my first trip to Costa Rica, next month!
