Mike, are you defending mobs seeking out the private homes of politicians or news personalities? Issuing threats?

It would seem that the attackers did break an oak door, talked about a pipe bomb and terrorized his wife and daughters.

Is that sort of activity acceptable to you?

Mob chants threats outside Tucker Carlson’s DC home

Of course that is not acceptable if any damage happened. How did you read acceptance into my question?

I was just questioning the use of the terms "attack" and "damaged." Both of the links I posted only spoke to chanting from the street and one person ringing the doorbell. I would not call that "attacking" or "damaging."

Nevertheless, I don't condone any group showing up unannounced and making that kind of scene (even without property damage) at a private residence. Its not quite terroristic, but it was a scare tactic...not OK.

Tucker is, however, an extremely opinionated alt-righter who has loudly put himself in the public eye professionally. I am surprised if this is the first time protestors have shown up at his home. They can protest him, but IMHO they should do it where he works, not where his family lives.

The group did not call me for my feedback or advice though...

His wife home alone. I take it you're not married. I'd be in jail right now. Keep it and there will be blood.

I took your "did they break his door bell as a satirical response" like no harm, no foul.

If they terrorized his wife and daughters, that could cause, at least, mental harm to them. The talk about a pipe bomb and "We know where you sleep." Seems like a threat of violence.

Tucker is a 1st amendment advocate as am I. However, terroristic threats by a bunch of masked attackers seems to be outside the bounds of the 1st amendment.

In my opinion, threats of physical harm should and could be prosecuted.

If you stick your hand in your pocket and say "I am going to shoot you dead", its game on.

The first amendment does not come into play here as much as the left would wish it did.

Do you think it is coincidence that they terrorized his family when they knew he would not be there?
