These beautiful birds come to Arkansas around Thanksgiving, and head back north around Valentines Day (around the full moon). They are easy to access, near Heber Springs, Arkansas. I took these several years ago, before I bought a DSLR. But still captured some interesting photos. Hope you enjoy!

2 ducks join the crowd, and a photo bomb. Yea, I could crop them out, but I think they add a little interest.

More swans and ducks, the ducks are a little more timid. The small oxbow lake is east of town.

Glad you like them. Yes, the lighting was neat, and the swans were quite cooperative. My favorite is the one swimming toward me, in a pool of sunset pink water.

Thanks for the nice comment. They are indeed beautiful to see and watch.
They have been coming to this lake for 30+ years approx. There is speculation that the first pair were blown off course the first time, and liked it here. They leave on a full moon, in February, heading back north for the summer.
