Such a fascinating shot. I wonder if you selected the dog and "autoed" the exposure it would be closer to your idea. You might consider upgrading your selection skills, since the halo on the skyline takes away from the shot. But the shot---oh, what a great one!

It wasn’t actually an intended shot, she just cannot keep her long nose to herself Bob. Sorry about the halo, I was aware of it but the shot wasn’t quite what I was after so I didn’t worry about it, just thought folks might find it amusing. I’d like to say if I wanted a decent shot with Lucy in it I’d take one - but you wouldn’t believe how difficult that dog can be.

I'm not sure if I really like it; but it is certainly imaginative and creative. You did well here. I still would probably not pick it for a wall photo.

Just thought you might like to see what I have to put up with ‘in the field’. I have others where the tower on the cliff is seen through her back legs! She likes to get involved, particularly if I get down to her level.
