As of January 8, 2019, Flickr will limit Free Flickr accounts to 1000 items. That's down from 1TB.
Flickr Pro will allow unlimited storage and cost $50 per year

I believe the acquisition of Flickr by SmugMug may have been a catalyst of change. I've been with them since 2012. I won't be affected with the upgrade. I will stay a free member. I've limited my numbers to 100 and once I upload a new one, I remove an unappreciated image. Still a good deal even with the Pro membership. If you are Explored, you get some decent traffic one day. I'm really appreciative of Flickr being around and offering free service for so long.

Flickr, that must be a phone deal, right?

I won't be affected neither, I occasionally remote some of the old post. I had been around for a long time and will continue my posting with them!

Funny coincidence, but I just reactivated my Flickr account this afternoon. I had only 100 pics there, and I added another 53. It's convenient for sharing with people.

I'm happy to see the limit. I sometimes look at Flickr and might even have an unused account from years ago. Hopefully with a limit people will look at their pictures and cull before posting. I hate seeing an entire page of the same leaf, in focus, out of focus, under exposed, over exposed, with one acceptable shot somewhere in the mix.

I'll just start deleting when I approach 1000. If Flickr gets too difficult I'll use something like Adobe Creative Suite Portfolio.

OK, so at 11fps, my Sony a6000 should be able to fill my (non-existent) Flickr space in about 91 seconds. Then, what do I do? It’s hard for me to imagine having 1000 pictures I would want to share.

I concur but many post quantity instead of quality.
