Yep, the best camera is the one you have with you at the moment. (iPhone this time.) Looked out the window this first morning at the beach and saw dawn on the horizon with the thin sliver of the moon and the planet in the sky.

although a very good photo, it shows the limits of cell phone photos--too much grain. Perhaps you should load it with slower film

Any camera is always better than none. At least you have a memory of the event, notwithstanding it is a poor photo by "camera" standards.

I invariably carry an Olympus XA and a tiny Sony p&s short zoom and a iPhone. The best shot wins!
