The company manufacturing Arsenal seems to be trying to.

Indeed! All Arsenal needs to make its AI "smart camera assistant" work is to add three
crucial capabilities:
1. Reading the photographer's mind in order to determine his intentions and visualization.
2. Knowing whether it's looking at a hawk or a handsaw (and how each is supposed to look)
How many objects can
you recognize? What color is a lemon, a lime, an orange?
3. Knowing the difference between a grey horse a white horse and a black horse in a close-up.
Guess those will have to wait for Version 2.
When I shot film, I used a Gossen Luna Pro and others (Weston et al). since I went completely digital, I haven't used any separate metering devices. Between the built in mode(s) for metering in my Canons, Sonys and Nikons and the capability for previewing the shot on the built-in screens I haven't ever thought of separate metering.
I want to Thank Everyone for their thoughts on this light meter. I have gained lots of knowledge on a subject that I knew little about. When it comes to learning about a photo subject, I like to ask others who I respect their wisdom on the subject. Again , Thanks for everyone's guidance on this subject.
