i have always tried to get people to do a shot a day. most of the time it is all by my iphone. I have put an app on my phone by nik snapseed, once you know what this can do in 10 mins you can have a great black and white.
The other thing about a shot per day is different times a day of the same subject find the light. I you have tried this let me know what you think does this help your other shots it did mine.

LOVE the first shot. Like the concept of the second but it is too grainy for me. last one is hard to define what it is... But the first is excellent !

thank you i enjoy b/w and snapseed allows me to do it every day and it is fun as well
